Brent Hendrick is an author, filmmaker, photographer, and adventure seeker known for exploring Canada’s wild places and forgotten history. With more than 180,000 subscribers on YouTube, Brent creates captivating documentary-style films that showcase abandoned places, historic locations, and off-the-grid outdoor adventures.


Through his popular video series, Brent takes viewers deep into Canada’s hidden landscapes—journeying through abandoned places, remote hiking trails, fishing holes, and rugged wilderness. His storytelling blends history, exploration, and raw outdoor adventure, bringing forgotten places back to life.


Brent’s work has earned multiple international film festival awards and widespread media recognition. He has been featured as an author and photographer in Reader’s Digest (three times), Reader’s Digest Canada, and Our Canada Magazine. His filmmaking success on YouTube earned him the YouTube Creator Award for surpassing 100,000 subscribers.


In addition to television appearances across Canada and the United States, Brent has been invited as a guest speaker at universities and has been featured in numerous online publications. His exploration work also inspired the motion picture horror film “Red Woods.”
